Our client is a leading industrial manufacturer of a variety of highly chemical products for various industries.
As part of their international expansion strategy, our client has a new vacancy for a Supply Chain Manager at their large manufacturing site in the Birmingham - Nottingham area.

THE POSITION

As Supply Chain Manager, you will be in charge of the following main activities
-Purchasing and inventory of raw materials
-Production planning and scheduling
-Logistics and delivery management
-Sales forecasting and management

You will manage a large team with various high level direct reports.
You are part of the company's management committee.

THE PROFILE

Experienced supply chainprofessional.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles: ERP, WMS, Lean knowledge.
Understands market dynamics as well as the highly regulatory landscape.
APICS CPIM certifiedsupply chain professional.
Industry experience in make-to-order manufacturing.
Ability to manage large teams.
Strong analytical skills and excellent judgment skills.
Analytical skills with experience in P&L and ROI.
