Our customer, a key player in heavy industry, is looking for its future Quality, Safety & Environment Manager - M/F for one of its strategic sites located in theOise department ( Hauts-de-France region).

This position, to be filled rapidly as part of a team renewal, is part of a dynamic process of transformation and modernization. The site employs between 60 and 70 people, and offers excellent career prospects in a fast-growing sector.

As QSE Manager, you will play a key role in the continuous improvement of the site's performance. Your main tasks will be to set up management systems and monitoring tools for quality, safety and the environment. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a QSE culture among teams, and supporting the site in its strategy of modernizing and optimizing processes.

RQSE (M/F)

  • Reporting directly to the Plant Manager

Your responsibilities will include

Management and improvement of QSE systems

  • Develop, update and manage all site QSE documents, in collaboration with the Regional Safety Coordinator (CSE).
  • Implement and lead the site's quality system, integrating normative and regulatory requirements.
  • Draw up quality assurance plans requested by customers and supervise their implementation.
  • Draft and monitor the development of operating procedures, product sheets (NF and CE certification) and site standards, in collaboration with production teams.
  • Ensure that internal controls are carried out correctly (particularly on concrete) and that they comply with company and customer requirements.

Safety and risk prevention

  • Participate in defining, implementing and monitoring the Group's safety policy, raising employee awareness of safety and quality requirements.
  • Supervise and participate in mandatory regulatory inspections (lifting, electrical installations, etc.) in coordination with maintenance, production and fleet teams.
  • Draft and update risk prevention plans and safety protocols adapted to the site's activities.
  • Lead incident and near-accident analyses, in collaboration with the CSSCT, and provide technical and administrative assistance in implementing corrective measures.
  • Actively participate in workstation studies to improve working conditions and reduce occupational hazards.
  • Carry out regulatory controls relating to the environment (water, noise, etc.) and contribute to reducing the environmental impact of activities.

Communication and stakeholder relations

  • Represent the site in dealings with external bodies (CARSAT, SISTM, DREETS, DREAL, etc.) on safety, quality and environmental issues.
  • Act as liaison between the plant manager and these bodies to ensure regulatory compliance and anticipate legislative changes.
  • Handle quality and safety-related disputes and oversee their rigorous resolution.
  • Take an active part in Group initiatives to raise safety awareness among staff (e.g., via VCS methods) and ensure administrative follow-up of related documents.

🏢 Permanent contract position: full-time, based in the Hauts-De-France region.

☑️ Your key skills & profile

Profile

  • Engineering background, preferably specialized in QHSE
  • At least 3 to 5 years' experience in an industrial environment
  • Mastery of heavy industrial processes
  • Organized, rigorous, good writing skills with a capacity for analysis and synthesis.
  • Motivated by teamwork in a dynamic environment.

A man or woman in the field, in contact with teams

Problem-solving skills

Ability to make proposals and master project management.
