PLANT MANAGER Hauts-de-France (M/F)
On behalf of our client, a major industrial player, we are looking for its future Plant Manager (M/F), based in the Hauts-De-France region. This key position involves a site employing between 60 and 70 people, which requires new managerial impetus, particularly in terms of modernizing production processes, maintenance management and social steering.
The site, currently under temporary management following the departure of the previous Plant Manager, faces both social and technical challenges. The future manager will not only have to guarantee business continuity, but also contribute to modernizing production methods while stabilizing the social climate. This position is an excellent opportunity for a profile eager to bring a fresh vision to the industry and to support the site's long-term transformation.
As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the site, overseeing various departments such as production, maintenance, logistics and human resources management. You will also have to implement the Group's strategies, while making continuous improvements to production processes.

Plant Manager (M/F)
Reports to the Industrial Director
Member of the Operational Management Committee
You will manage the "plant" profit center under your supervision.
You manage a production and logistics team
In particular, you will be responsible for
#1 Implement strategic orientations and modernize methods
- You will be responsible for deploying the strategic plans defined with general management, ensuring their effective and rigorous application in the field.
- Your role will also involve modernizing production processes by integrating new technologies and industrial methods. You will steer the transformation towards more innovative production standards, in particular Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, and other optimization tools.
- Propose investments to improve site capacity and efficiency, taking into account new products and markets to be explored.
#2 Supervise industrial operations and maintenance management
- You will manage all the site's operational activities, ensuring that quality, safety and productivity targets are met.
- A crucial part of your mission will be to reorganize and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance plans. You will need to evaluate existing systems to reduce machine downtime costs and maximize equipment availability.
- Implement modern maintenance processes to ensure plant performance and longevity. A complete overhaul of maintenance programs and their alignment with performance targets is a priority to keep the site competitive.
#3 Maintain organizational agility in the face of market changes
- You will be responsible for adapting the site organization to fluctuating market demands, adjusting teams and material resources flexibly. You will also oversee the integration of new product ranges and the management of production innovations.
- You will ensure that production lines can evolve in line with needs, and reinforce the reliability of logistics flows to respond rapidly to market challenges.
#4 Leading social dialogue and supporting change
- In addition to the operational aspects, an important part of your role will be to manage a complicated social context. You will be a key player in managing labor relations and negotiating with social partners, to ensure a favorable social climate for future developments.
- Your mission will be to create a dynamic ofcontinuous improvement in social dialogue, encouraging transparency, consultation and conflict resolution to foster a more harmonious working environment.

☑️ Your key skills & profile
Profile
Engineering degree, ideally in industrial or mechanical engineering
At least 15 years' experience, including 10 years in industrial site management
Mastery of heavy industrial processes andteam management in multidisciplinary environments
Experience in Lean methods, industrial project management, continuous improvement (Kanban)
Experience in managing complex teams and labor relations is required.
Personal skills
A man or woman in the field, in contact with teams
Experience in labor relations, communication and negotiation skills
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to make proposals
