☑️ The position to be filled
Financial Controller – France
You will report directly to the country’s Finance Director from the France headquarters, based in the Paris region. You will work directly with the Group’s Shared Services Centre (SSC). You will be the direct correspondent for all accounting, tax and applicable standards.

You will be responsible for the following tasks
– Supervise the accounting and financial analysis of all activities
– To be the guarantor of compliance with French-Gap standards and the transition to IFRS standards
– Participate in the development of financial performance
– Support the Finance Department and General Management through your analyses and recommendations.

Your scope of activities includes, but is not limited to
– Coordination of monthly closings
– Supervision of tax returns (CFE, CVAE and others) with the support of a tax advisor
– Reconciliation of company accounts between local and Group standards
– Preparation of reporting and performance analysis: P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
– Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and tax authorities

You will be in a true “Business Partner” relationship within the company and actively participate, through your initiatives and actions, in the realisation of the company’s project.

✈️ Mobility: in France according to needs, partial telecommuting possible
🚩 Starting date: from September 2022, ASAP if short notice is given
⚽ Progressive position: numerous opportunities within the Group, in France and/or internationally depending on the profile

☑️ Your profile
Education & know-how
University / Business School / Accounting / Auditing / Management / Economics degree.
Ideally a holder of the DSCG – DESCF or equivalent
Knowledge of IFRS standards and mastery of Excel
Able to work in a team environment with a high degree of autonomy.
Experience of at least 5 years in an equivalent position, preferably in Retail within an international Group
Your experience in an audit and/or accounting firm is a plus
Fluent English

Willingness to work for the long term, in an ambitious and developing Group
Autonomous, rigorous with a pragmatic approach
You are able to take initiative and are a force for proposal in your fields
Ability to communicate and convince your contacts
