Maintenance Manager
Our client is a major player in heavy industry with several sites throughout France. For one of its sites in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region, we have been given an express and exclusive mandate to recruit its future Maintenance Manager (M/F).
This position, available immediately , is to be filled rapidly in a context of reorganization and optimization.
The site employs around 70 people. The job involves bringing a new vision to the site in a fast-growing sector. As part of the site's strategic development plan, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and perfecting preventive maintenance procedures.
In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will also be involved in the continuous improvement of product quality.
As Manager of this unit, you will supervise maintenance and quality activitieswithyour dedicated teams.

☑️ Position to be filled
Maintenance Manager (M/F)
- Reports to the Site Manager
You supervise the maintenance team
You manage an operational team in the field
In particular, you will be responsible for
#1 Team management.
- Direct management of 5 people
- Supervise a remote workshop on another Group site
- Coordinate with a direct assistant all maintenance operations and set up schedules.
#2 Supervise all site maintenance activities
- Supervise maintenance activities in a predominantly electrical and lightly automated environment, while respecting the policy of operational excellence.
- Manage machine stoppages, on-site interventions and equipment optimization.
- Manage an annual maintenance budget of + 500 k€.
- Implement and monitor Lean Manufacturing methods, with training of operational teams.
- Ensure deadlines are met: to limit the unavailability of industrial equipment.
🏢 Permanent contract position: full-time, based in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
✈️ Professional mobility: occasionally on other Group sites
🚩 Quick start: as soon as the profile is validated, during February 2025

☑️ Your key skills & profile
Profile
Engineering background, preferably in industrial or mechanical engineering
At least 15 years' experience, including 10 as Maintenance Manager
Mastery of heavy industrial processes, such as metallurgy, cement, foundries, construction, molding, concrete or similar sectors.
Team management in multi-trade environments
Experience of Lean methods, industrial project management
People skills
Hands-on, team-oriented, field person
Experience in labor relations, communication and negotiation skills
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to make proposals
