Our client is an international joint venture, made up of the most reputable companies in their field, currently managing a major water management contract in Saudi Arabia. In this context, we have been mandated, on an exclusive and confidential basis, to rapidly find a key member of the TOP management team.

We are offering a Water O&M Director position for this opportunity, based in Riyadh. As this is a major contract with strategic objectives, the successful candidate will join this project as a key member of the management team and will be able to develop his/her own expertise.

For this position in Riyadh, we are looking for a highly qualified TOP professional with top-level technical experience in the water management of a very large project.

Working with qualified and experienced direct reports, you will be in charge of drinking water management activities for a few million inhabitants in and around the city of Riyadh with a very large distribution network.

☑️ The position
Water Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manager
Reports directly to the company's General Manager
Member of the management team

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Play a leading role in all water distribution activities
  • Be responsible for a very large drinking water network
  • Reinforce the transformation of operational processes and working methods.

To be eligible to apply, your experience must meet at least the following criteria:

  • Management experience of 500 employees or more
  • Have operated a drinking water network of 5,000 km or more
  • Have managed a drinking water production and distribution network of 500,000 m3/day or more.

As part of your mission, you will manage and supervise the following responsibilities:

  • Optimize connection times for new customers
  • Train your operational teams
  • Supervise the work of contractors within your scope
  • Implement new plans to improve working conditions.

☑️ Your key skills and profile

Your profile
International profile
Seniority in the position with experience of large-scale contracts
Experience in water management activities (not construction activities)
Engineering background with an internationally recognized diploma
Minimum 20 years' experience.

Non-technical skills
Minimum command of English.
Knowledge of Arabic would be an asset.
Multicultural profile, ability to adapt and share knowledge
Team player eager to join a dynamic and highly professional team.
