Industrial Finance Controller (W/M)

Our client being a private equity owned company, the shareholders have recently decided to strengthen its corporate financial organization.

In this context, we have been appointed and on Express & Confidential base to find this key financial positions on an interim management base, being the future Industrial Finance Controller (W/M) within a large industrial site in Germany, in the North Rhine Westphalia region.

This interim management missions has a first phase of 6 months, before being either extended or transformed, as a permanent position is expected to be created.

The future selected candidate will already have a similar experience, preferably in Germany within an industrial site.
This challenging mission is available right now and will start during November 2022, once the “happy-one” will be appointed by our client.

Reporting to the European Controlling Manager
Main objectives
• Manage the various monthly plants reporting
• Analyse the main costs drivers such as energy, material, fixed costs & others
• Perform reliable profitability analysis and identify improvement levers

• Determine actual vs standard costs calculations for the production costs
• Build the plants Budgets & Forecasts, perform regular variance analysis
• Propose continuous improvements to optimize the industrial gross margins
Regional scope will include
The Eastern and Western France regions, with various industrial sites of different size

📍 Based in Germany - Dusseldorf – Dortmund area
✈️ Business mobility: on a regular basis within the regional scope
🚩 Starting date: ASAP & during November 2022
⚽ Mission length: Initial period of 6 months, extension possible
👉 A permanent position is expected to be created after this mission

☑️ Your key skills & profile
Your Profile
Master Degree level in Accounting or in Finance or Business School equivalent
At least 8 years of relevant experience, within an industrial organisation
Good understanding of industrial and costing processes
Communication skills & team player, Business partnership attitude
Knowledge in SAP, Magnitude, Microsoft & Google suite tools
English business language. German language.
