Our client in the air transport sector, with fast-growing activities in several of its market segments: passengers, freight, BtoB flights and maintenance activities.

In this context of growth and structuring of its activities, we have been mandated on an exclusive, express & confidential basis to recruit its future Group Purchasing Manager (M/F) for a permanent contract.

This opportunity, based in Ile-de-France (Roissy area), is to be filled immediately once the choice of the best candidate (M/F) has been validated with our client.

☑️ Position to be filled

Group Purchasing Manager (M/F)

Reports directly to the Finance Department, in liaison with the Industrial Department.

- Participate in the analysis and definition of internal requirements in coordination with the relevant teams.

- Identify, prospect and select potential supplier markets.

- Draw up and supervise calls for tender and establish comparison grids to facilitate decision-making.

- Negotiate with suppliers and carry out benchmarks to select the best offers.

- Actively develop the responsible purchasing approach within the company.

- Set up and monitor purchasing performance indicators.

- Analyze current contracts to optimize purchasing processes and reduce costs.

- Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of the purchasing department.

Among the purchases to be coordinated, fuels will be a major challenge for this position, as well as technical purchases directly related to the aviation and maintenance sectors.

Profile

- Specialized training in purchasing

- At least 10 years' experience in a similar role; knowledge of the airline sector is a plus

- Knowledge of customs procedures

- Fluency in English

- Experience in setting up purchasing processes

- Ability to adapt to new professional contexts

- Experience of working in an agile environment
