This Chief Accountant & Personal officer (M/F) position has a regional scope, supervising the distribution activities of around 12 countries within Europe & African markets.

With this position, you will both grow your expertise in accounting, but also support the regular personnel managementskills always with the support of the Group central functions.

Chief accountant & Personal management (M/W)

Direct report to regional Managing Director

Working with the support of the Group functions

Supported both by the Accounting Director & by the HR Director

Working in close collaboration with the countries’ representatives

Your position scope includes the following tasks & responsibilities

Chief accountant activities

· Management of clients’ & suppliers’ interface

· Cash and banks monitoring

· Balance-sheet and profit & loss account preparation

· Interface with auditors, tax advisors & tax authorities

· Preparation of Group accounting reportings

HR Personal & administrative activities

· Follow-up of employment contracts, interim positions, personal folders

· Supporting IT services & contact person with Group IT department

· Administration of car management, expenses & travel policies

🏢 Permanent position : based in Amsterdam central city, The Netherlands

✈️ Business mobility: limited, in few EU countries upon necessity for team meetings

☑️ Your key skills & profile

Profile

You have a recognized accounting education

At least a HBO or a Bachelor degree, in accounting / business & administration / economics

Around 5 years of relevant experience

Regular use of standard accounting software

Key skills

Dutch speaker & writer being a must have

English professional practice

Communication capacities, team spirit, positive thinking
