For one of our international clients, we currently propose an interim management mission as Legal Counsel Contracting.

As part of the EMEA Legal team, you will strengthen the corporate organization and act as a real legal business partner with a mainly European wide scope.

You will be supporting various in a common Joint Venture their contracting activities by producing accurate and timely legal advice. Within the team, you will advice the senior managers to maintain the highest standards of contractual legal compliance.

This mission will start at the beginning of October 2023 for a first 4–6-months period and will welcome an experienced professional, having already worked in a similar position in the BtoB sector.

Legal Counsel Contracting (W/M)

Direct report to the Group VP Legal Counsel

Dotted business relations with the Group functions and Executive Management

Your main mission objectives are:

·       To ensure the company complies with the laws and regulations while carrying out its business and operations ;

·       To advise the management and business functions on the various contractual laws and regulations ;

·       To identify and mitigate legal risks related to the main contracts and company’s projects.

To ensure the success of this mission, you will be involved on various tasks & responsibilities such as:

·       Provide legal support to the management on a large variety of projects ;

·       Ensure legal compliance with Group processes and internal controls ;

·       Advise the management on their contractual documentation ;

·       Draft legal documentation such as purchasing contracts, partnerships agreements, service providers ;

·       Execute procedures for protecting trademarks or industrial designs ;

·       Handle litigation when necessary ;

·       Keep up with changes in laws and regulations applicable to the business sectors.

🎯 In summary, the Legal Counsel Contracting will be the key legal business partner for the management teams and for the Group functions within its European wide scope.

🏢 Interim management mission : based in the Paris area

✈️ Business mobility : limited, home office partially possible

🚩 Starting date : ASAP

⚽ Mission length : 4-6 months on first phase, extensible upon necessary

☑️ Your key skills & profile

Profile

Proven working experience as Legal Counsel for 10 years minimum

In-depth knowledge of BtoB business environment

International Group, BtoB sectors. Industrial knowledge is a plus

Fully fluent in English, another EU language a plus: Italian, German, Dutch

Key skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

High degree of professional ethics and integrity

Ability to judge and analyze situations

Capacity to work on parallel on various projects

Autonomous
