The role of the manager is to be the right hand of the CFO France.

CLIENT'S NEEDS

On behalf of our client, we are exclusively looking for a new Financial Controller - Group Accounting Manager (M/F) based in Paris to reinforce its teams at the head office, based in Paris.

This position is open to any professional with 5 to 10 years of successful experience as :

- Financial Auditor in an auditing or accounting firm with clients in the retail sector;
Financial Controller - Accounting Manager in a company in the Retail sector (Food or Non-Food) in an international environment.

In order to successfully integrate into this beautiful Group, the manager also has a good knowledge of IFRS standards and is fluent in English.

THE COMPANY

THE POSITION

The role of the manager is to be the right hand of the CFO France.

As a "Business Partner" of the Head Office, his scope of responsibility covers :

-Supervision of all Accounting & Tax activities
-Management of relations with the Auditors
-Continuous improvement of processes.

His/her main Accounting & Taxmissions are

-Coordinate monthly closings with the CSP / Shared Services
-Present periodic financial statements (quarterly, annual)
-Ensure the French-Gaap to IFRS Gaap conversion
-Oversee the declarations: VAT, CVAE, CFE with the help of a tax specialist.

External contacts:

-Statutory auditors, tax authorities, suppliers and other service providers.

Internal contacts :

- The CFO, the management controllers, the teams of the CSP Group and the operational teams (General Management, Sales outlet managers)

Its contributions to process improvement

-You develop internal controls
-You implement risk management and asset protection.

THE POSITION

Your expertise
Higher education in Accounting - Finance: 5 years of higher education or equivalent.
Diploma such as DEC - DESCF - DSCG - MSTCF.
Experience sought: Audit-CAC firm and/or Group in Retail.
Fluent English is essential.
Tools: Excel intensive. SAP / Hyperion / BlackLine are a plus.
Other: practice of IFRS standards.
